The district administration in Pendra has responded decisively to issues in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma from Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended for displaying negligence and a lack of seriousness in his duties related to the scheme. Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant from the same panchayat, has been issued a show cause notice. Moreover, instructions have been given to transfer the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat to a different post with immediate effect. These actions were taken under the guidance of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh, who has stressed that negligence in government programs will not be overlooked. All panchayat employees have been cautioned that strict measures will be employed against anyone impeding the progress of the PMAY.
