The program included mesmerizing performances of Gedi dance and Raut Nacha by talented artists from different parts of Chhattisgarh. The presence of Sawan Jhula and Savanahi Ramayana recitations captivated the audience. The festival was a lively display of the state’s folk traditions and its enduring heritage.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai joined the festivities, performing a puja to bless agricultural tools, a crucial tradition of the Hareli festival. The event also presented an exhibition of both traditional and modern agricultural tools to educate the youth about the agricultural practices and technological advancements in Chhattisgarh. The celebration featured traditional games and folk art exhibitions, designed specifically for children.
