
The community of Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh, witnessed an inspiring act of heroism when two soldiers ran 10 kilometers to donate blood and save the lives of two young boys, Rohit Dugga and Roshan Dugga. The children were hospitalized due to malaria and a critical blood deficiency. Their condition necessitated immediate blood transfusions, prompting their father to seek assistance. After a social media post by a local journalist highlighted the need, the 29th Battalion COB, under Commander Dushyant Raj Jaiswal, quickly mobilized. Soldiers Suvendra Ghosh and Nilesh Kumar volunteered and, prioritizing the children’s lives, ran from COB Nelwad to the district hospital to donate blood. The parents were deeply moved by the soldiers’ act of kindness, expressing their profound gratitude. The soldiers, demonstrating their commitment to humanity, wished the children a full recovery and a promising future.
