A Historic Step in the Field of Digital Technology.

Raipur, May 3, 2025 – The foundation stone for the country’s first Artificial Intelligence-based Data Center Park was laid today by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai in Sector-22, Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This Data Center Park is being developed in an area of 13.5 acres, out of which 2.7 hectares will be developed as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Operated by Rack Bank Data Centers Private Limited, this project will be completely dedicated to AI services. Starting with a capacity of 5 MW in the first phase, it will be expanded to 150 MW. In the future, an additional investment of approximately ₹2000 crore is possible in this project. Keeping environmental protection in mind, this Data Center has been designed in accordance with green and energy-efficient technology.

Not only will storage and processing facilities be available here, but state-of-the-art services will also be provided in fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Healthtech, Defense, Fintech, and Data Analytics. The park will have world-class facilities like GPU-based high-end computing infrastructure, recording, live data streaming, and AI processing.

Approximately 500 direct and 1500 indirect employment opportunities will be created through this project. The special thing is that priority will be given to local youth in this, due to which Chhattisgarh will not only become a leader in the technical field but also new possibilities will open up for the youth. Through this center, global-level services like GPU-based high-end computing, live data streaming, AI processing, and data analytics will be available under one roof. Its effect will be seen in the form of major changes in the Healthtech, Fintech, Smart Agriculture, and Defense sectors.

In his address, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this is not just a technical project, but the foundation of the future of Chhattisgarh. He described it as transformative for the youth, farmers, and tribal community of the state. He expressed confidence that Chhattisgarh will now become the heartbeat of digital India.

    What Will Change for Chhattisgarh?

New avenues of employment: This data center park will create thousands of jobs in fields like IT, data analytics, and technical maintenance. The youth of Chhattisgarh will now be able to build technical careers at home without having to go to Delhi-Mumbai.
Helping farmers: AI technology will help farmers with smart farming, accurate weather information, and crop management. This will give them more fruits of their labor.
Digital power to tribals: Education, health, and government services will reach remote tribal areas digitally and easily.
Self-reliant Chhattisgarh: This park will handle national and global data traffic, which will speed up government services and make the state digitally self-reliant.
