
Several key decisions were made during a recent cabinet meeting, impacting various areas of the state. State police officers of the 2005-2009 batches are set to receive promotions, with new posts created to accommodate the changes. A joint venture is planned with PanIIT to empower marginalized communities through skill development and entrepreneurship. The Motor Vehicles Taxation Act will be amended to tackle accidents and pollution. Vehicle owners can now transfer their existing fancy registration numbers to new vehicles.
