The girlfriend, overloaded with groceries, called her boyfriend for a ride, naively unaware of the impending tragedy. Her boyfriend, consumed by dark intentions, agreed. He picked her up and headed to a forest. When she inquired about their destination, he told her to get off the bike.
She did so without suspicion. At this moment, two of the boyfriend’s accomplices emerged. The three men forced her deep into the forest, where they repeatedly raped her. Her screams were ignored. She threatened to report them to the authorities and get them imprisoned. Her attackers became enraged, beating her severely and then suffocating her with a scarf.
Her body was concealed in a bag, tied, and dumped in a water-filled drain. This terrible crime occurred in Korba, Chhattisgarh. After the woman failed to return home, her family, fearing the worst, reported her missing to the local police three days later. The police initiated an investigation.
