Accompanying the Vice President was Municipal Officer Ashok Salame, along with other municipal officials and local leaders. The primary aim of the inspection was to assess the current conditions of these facilities and to issue necessary directives for their maintenance and improvement.
At the Atal Awas complex, the inspection revealed concerns about sanitation and cleanliness, with the presence of accumulated waste in the internal streets. The Municipal Officer was instructed to take immediate action to address the sanitation issues. Furthermore, it was suggested that the vacant spaces within the Atal Awas premises could be utilized for community amenities such as a garden or an open gym. The residents of Atal Awas were also encouraged to contribute to the cleanliness of their surroundings.
The inspection of the Nayapara water tank exposed a critical need for maintenance, specifically a thorough cleaning, which had been overdue for several years. The responsible personnel were directed to complete the cleaning within a week. The Municipal Officer was instructed to prioritize the cleaning of all water tanks throughout the city, underscoring the significance of providing clean and safe drinking water to the public. The community center, which had been closed for a considerable period, was also examined. The Vice President proposed that the center could be repurposed to facilitate various municipal services for the Nayapara area, such as tax collection, application processing, and other public services. The necessity of appropriate maintenance and renovation of the building was highlighted.
During the inspection of the Sant Ravidas Garden, the inspection team noted damaged underground pipelines and issues with the lighting system. The statue of Sant Ravidas also required some maintenance work. The Municipal Officer was instructed to address these issues and ensure that the garden is a well-maintained space for the residents. The Vice President emphasized the urgency of addressing the shortcomings identified during the inspection, to enhance the public facilities in Nayapara.
