The monsoon session will also be a key agenda item. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain is retiring on June 30th, marking the end of his tenure as the longest-serving CS in the state, having served for over four years. The selection of the new Chief Secretary is still under consideration. Potential candidates include Renuka Pillay and Subrat Sahu from the 1991 batch, along with ACS Manoj Pinguva and Richa Sharma from the 1994 batch. Amit Agrawal, a 1993 batch officer currently serving in the central government, is also in the running. The Chief Minister will announce the new Chief Secretary after careful consideration. The new Chief Secretary will be introduced at 11 am on the day of the meeting.
