
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai unveiled several key initiatives focused on tribal development at the Nuakhai Milan Samaroh and the inauguration of the “Olek” social building, both held at the Forest School complex in Jagdalpur. The CM detailed the Dharti Aba Gram Utkarsh Yojana, a program by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with a budget of 80,000 crore rupees, to improve tribal villages. He also spoke of the Prime Minister Janman Yojana, created to bring particularly backward tribes into the mainstream. A significant announcement included the allocation of 75 lakh rupees for constructing domes at five sites for the Dhurwa community. CM Sai also assured the approval of proposals from 36 community sarpanches for village development projects. The CM honored Maa Danteshwari and remembered Shaheed Gundadhur, a hero of the Dhurwa community. He affirmed the importance of preserving the Nuakhai Milan Samaroh as a symbol of culture and tradition. Sai highlighted the crucial role of the Special Tribal Area Development Authority in the Bastar and Sarguja divisions and spoke about the Niyad Nellanar Yojana, which is bringing essential services such as roads, power, and housing to Maoist-affected areas. The event was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, MP Mahesh Kashyap, MLA Kiran Dev, and other officials. The Dhurwa community warmly greeted the Chief Minister and other attendees with traditional customs.
