The weather department has issued a warning for Chhattisgarh, predicting heavy rain and thunderstorms in several districts. The alert includes anticipation of heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning in 17 districts like Sukma, Bastar, Bijapur, Surajpur, Balrampur, Surguja, and Raipur. The forecast indicates that Northern Chhattisgarh is likely to experience stormy conditions over the next five days. From August 6th, the entire state can anticipate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
