Delhi is expected to see continued rainfall, with no end in sight. Along with rain, the capital can anticipate thunderstorms today. This weather pattern is predicted to last until August 31st, with additional showers or thunderstorms expected on September 1st and 2nd.
**Uttar Pradesh Weather Outlook**
Rainfall has ceased in Uttar Pradesh. The remaining days of the month will be characterized by heat and humidity. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible in western and eastern areas today. However, heavy rainfall is not anticipated. The weather is expected to change again from September 1st.
Bihar can anticipate heavy rainfall between August 30th and September 1st. Heavy rainfall is anticipated in Jharkhand on August 29th-30th. Chhattisgarh and Odisha may face heavy rainfall today. Eastern Rajasthan and Haryana are expected to see heavy rain in the coming week. Western Rajasthan may experience rain from August 29th to 31st.
**Punjab’s Rivers Surge**
Light rainfall is possible in some areas of Punjab today. Flooding has become a serious issue in Kapurthala district due to persistent rain over the past two days. The Sutlej, Beas, and Ravi rivers, along with other waterways, are seeing rising water levels because of heavy rains and water being released from the Pong and Bhakra dams.
**Rain Across the Country**
Heavy rainfall is expected in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and interior Karnataka through August 29th. The northeastern states are also experiencing ongoing rain. Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura can expect consistent rain over the next seven days. Heavy rainfall may occur in Arunachal Pradesh until August 30th.
Jammu will continue to experience thunderstorms and rain. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued weather warnings. Uttarakhand is anticipated to experience exceptionally heavy rainfall today, tomorrow, and on September 1st and 2nd. Heavy rainfall is possible in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh in the coming week.
