August 23rd is likely to have cloudy skies with moderate rain, and similar conditions are expected on August 24th and 25th. Rain or thunderstorms may occur in Delhi on August 26th and 27th.
The weather in Uttar Pradesh has changed, with the Meteorological Department issuing a heavy rainfall alert for five days, starting today. A heavy rainfall alert has been issued for 38 districts today. Rainfall is anticipated across the majority of the state on August 24th and 25th. Heavy rainfall is likely to continue until August 26th.
Heavy rainfall is also expected to begin in the region spanning Bihar, Bengal, and Odisha. The Meteorological Department predicts heavy rainfall for the next week in Bihar, Jharkhand, the Himalayan region of West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha. Lightning is possible in multiple states. Heavy rainfall is also probable in Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan over the next six to seven days.
The hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand can also anticipate heavy rainfall. Special warnings have been issued for Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Heavy rain may occur in Uttarakhand from today until August 25th. Himachal Pradesh is expected to experience heavy rainfall from tomorrow until August 26th.
