Raipur. Rajnandgaon MP Santosh Pandey praised the railways in Parliament today. He said, the way the railways have set the journey under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav is historic. Here, the railways are compared to the army. ‘Aharnisham Sevamahe’ Although the army remains ready during the war, the railways keep running all the time, day and night, in winter, rain, Diwali, Holi, Eid etc. During the Corona period, our railways sometimes become hospitals. Just as Hanuman ji worked to bring Sanjeevani, in the same way the railways also work to deliver oxygen. Our railways are the ‘Lifeline of the Nation’.

MP Pandey has urged the Railway Minister to start the Raipur to Dongargarh MEMU train, which has been closed since the Corona period, soon. The new railway line from Dongargarh to Katghora is very ambitious, it should also be started soon. He said, when we are sleeping peacefully in the train, thousands of railway workers are busy at work. Be it the level crossing gate in the forest or the main station or those site stations, our railway workers are engaged with devotion and concentration with alertness and commitment towards their duty. For the rapid development of India in the 21st century, for the development of railways, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav worked day and night. We are grateful to him. Such a sensitive minister is Ashwini Vaishnav, who is making record investments to make the Indian Railways of the Central Government state-of-the-art. At present, a nationwide campaign has been launched for the rejuvenation of Indian Railways. Now modern trains like Vande Bharat, Tejas, Humsafar are being made in the country. There is a record increase in the number of safe modern coaches. Railway stations are being developed beautifully like airports.

MP Santosh Pandey said, for a young country like India, Indian Railways is also going to take a young avatar. Vande Bharat trains will play a very big role in this. On behalf of the people of Chhattisgarh, I express my gratitude to the Railway Minister, who has generously given money to Chhattisgarh. Various projects are going on in the railways, from which we will benefit. The released budget will mainly promote industrial development. Special attention has been given to reducing the congestion of the high-density network and enabling multimodal connectivity.

32 railway stations are being developed in Chhattisgarh

He said, a provision of Rs 6,922 crore has been made for rail development in Chhattisgarh. Work is being done on 25 new rail line projects of 2,731 kilometers at a cost of Rs 37,018 crore in Chhattisgarh. Under the Amrit Bharat Station Yojana, 32 railway stations of Chhattisgarh state are being developed, which include 32 stations like Rajnandgaon, Dongargarh, Akaltara, Ambikapur, Baikunthpur, Balod, Baradwar, Bilha.
