An intense clash erupted between security forces and Naxals within the Partapur area. During the encounter, security personnel eliminated a Naxal operative. The confirmation came from SP I.K. Elesela.
Based on insider information regarding the presence of prominent Naxal leaders, the troops had been performing extensive search operations in the jungles for the last two days. The Naxals initiated the firing when the forces got closer. The security forces responded effectively, resulting in the death of one Naxal.
A weapon was also found at the site of the encounter. It is believed that more Naxals may have been injured or killed.
The incident occurred within the forests of Alanar. The killed Naxal was identified as Masa, a member of Company Number 5. He was wanted with a bounty of 8 lakh rupees.
