Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh is reeling from another act of Naxal violence. A local villager, Bandi Korram, was murdered in a brutal attack. The incident took place in Nilawaya village, under the Aranpur police station’s purview. The victim was killed with a sharp-edged weapon after being called out of his home by a group of Naxals. The villagers were deeply shaken by the act, prompting an immediate call to the police. Law enforcement officials arrived at the scene to begin a thorough investigation. The body of the deceased has been sent for a post-mortem examination. This is not an isolated incident for the family, as the Naxals had previously murdered Korram’s son, Harendra Korram, roughly four years ago.
