CM’s Chaupal under the shade of Mahua tree in Mathmaur
Raipur, May 08, 2025/Under the third phase of Good Governance Tihar, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai suddenly reached village Mathmaur in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district today. When the Chief Minister reached Mathmaur village without any prior notice, a wave of enthusiasm spread in the village. To welcome the suddenly arrived Chief Minister, the villagers prepared a beautiful bouquet with flowers from nearby and warmly welcomed him. The Chief Minister held a Chaupal under the Mahua tree in the middle of the village and interacted directly with the villagers present there. While gathering information from the villagers about the benefits of government schemes, he said that new brides will also soon get the benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He also asked the village Sarpanchs to prepare and send a list of eligible families for PM Awas.
The Chief Minister started the Chaupal with slogans of Bharat Mata and Chhattisgarh Mahtari. He seated the village Sarpanch next to him and took detailed information about the implementation of development works and public welfare schemes and problems in the Panchayat. Upon receiving the news of the Chief Minister’s arrival, a large number of villagers from nearby Koliari and Kuwanrpur Panchayats, as well as several nearby villages, also reached Mathmaur, who presented their problems and demands before Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai.
In the Chaupal, Chief Minister Shri Sai took feedback from the villagers on the status of ration shop operations, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He asked the women whether they were receiving the amount of one thousand rupees every month on time. Chief Minister Shri Sai clarified that newly married women who are eligible will also soon get the benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana.
33/11 KV power substation will be established in Kuwanrpur
Along with knowing the ground reality of the implementation of public welfare schemes, Chief Minister Shri Sai also made several major announcements for Mathmaur and its surrounding villages. He announced the establishment of a 33/11 KV power substation in Kuwanrpur. Along with this, he talked about the construction of new roads from Fuljhar to Chandela, Tilauli to Darritola, Sanbora to Pando, Kuwanrpur to Gajar, and Patpar Tola to Chandela under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
Settlement camp will be organized to resolve revenue cases
Chief Minister Shri Sai also approved the construction of a building for the Naib Tehsildar office in Kuwanrpur and directed the SDM to organize a settlement camp to resolve revenue cases. A community building has also been approved in Mathmaur, which will provide a permanent facility for social events and meetings for the villagers.
A 100-bed hospital will be constructed soon in Janakpur, approval has been received
The Chief Minister also informed the villagers that the construction of a 100-bed hospital has been approved in Janakpur, due to which the people of this tribal area will not have to go far for treatment. During this, he honored the students who passed the board examinations with good marks after studying at the Government Higher Secondary School Kuwanrpur. The Chief Minister spoke to the students about their future career planning and inquired about the school system in the village.
On this occasion, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Basavaraju S., and other officers were present.
