The Pendra district administration has taken stringent measures in response to negligence in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. As a result, Rajkumar Sharma, the secretary of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat, has been suspended due to his negligence and lack of attention to duties. Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant from the same panchayat, has been issued a show cause notice. In addition, instructions have been given to transfer the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat with immediate effect. This action was taken on the orders of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh, who has made it clear that any form of negligence in government schemes will not be tolerated. He has warned all panchayat staff that strict action will be taken against those who obstruct the PM Awas Yojana and other crucial programs. The administration’s firm stance has created a sense of urgency in the panchayats, with other panchayats being directed to implement schemes on schedule and with utmost transparency.
