Online Property Tax Payment Facility in 53 Urban Bodies of the State Providing Online Property Tax Payment Facility in 53 Municipal Bodies of the State The Department of Urban Administration and Development continues to launch new initiatives to modernize local governance and provide home-based services. For the convenience of families living in cities, an online property tax payment facility is being provided in 53 municipal bodies. With this facility, people can pay their property tax from home or office anytime. Citizens of urban bodies with this facility no longer need to go to an office or queue. They can submit it at their convenience. The Department has started this facility in 46 new municipal bodies this August, providing home-based property tax payment. Previously, online property tax facility was available only in the seven municipal corporations of Raipur, Durg, Risai, Bhilai, Bilaspur, Korba and Raigarh. In August 2025, the facility was launched in three more municipal corporations—Bargarh, Bhilai-Choroda and Dhamtari—and also in 43 municipalities. Through the GIS-based Property Tax Live Portal, property tax can now be paid online from any of the 53 municipal bodies across the state. In these municipalities, the online property tax payment facility is available.
