
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Parliament House to personally extend an invitation. The meeting revolved around inviting the Prime Minister to grace the Amrit Rajat Mahotsav, a celebration marking the 25th anniversary of Chhattisgarh’s formation. This event is scheduled to take place in Raipur on November 1, 2025, where the Prime Minister would be the chief guest.
Beyond the invitation, the Chief Minister utilized the opportunity to brief the Prime Minister on key development projects and plans for the state. The discussions included an overview of the state’s priorities and future initiatives designed to benefit the public.
Chief Minister Sai highlighted the progress of Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. He presented the ‘Anjor Vision @2047’ document, a comprehensive plan outlining inclusive and sustainable development, aligned with the vision of a developed India. This plan focuses on enhancing sectors such as education, healthcare, agriculture, and environmental sustainability.
The Chief Minister informed the Prime Minister about the Jan Vishwas Vidheyak 2025, passed by the Chhattisgarh government to promote transparency in the justice system, inspired by the Central Government’s Jan Vishwas Act 2023.
The Chhattisgarh State Capital Region Development Authority (SCRDA) was also discussed, with the Chief Minister explaining its role in the planned development of Nava Raipur. The aim is to create a modern and smart urban center.
The meeting also covered the advancements in industrial investments and job creation. The new Industrial Policy 2024-30, launched in 2024, has attracted substantial investor interest. A single-window system is in place to facilitate the establishment of industries, and incentives are offered to businesses that generate significant employment.
Chief Minister Sai reported that Rs 6.65 lakh crore in investment proposals had been received from 84 companies between November 2024 and July 2025. He also mentioned the groundbreaking for India’s first semiconductor unit in Nava Raipur and the ongoing construction of an AI data center. The state is focused on fostering industries like textiles, pharmaceuticals, and IT services.
Regarding education, the Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to providing quality education in rural and remote areas. Efforts include optimizing schools and teacher assignments. The government is also focused on integrating technology with education in tribal regions.
The Chief Minister shared details about the Medicity and Edu City projects under development. Medicity, in Raipur, is designed to be a premier healthcare center, aiming to position Chhattisgarh as a medical hub and create numerous job opportunities.
Finally, the Chief Minister discussed rehabilitation and confidence-building efforts in Naxal-affected areas. He highlighted that the government’s policies have led to many Naxalites surrendering and returning to normal life. Investments in infrastructure like education, healthcare, and roads are building trust and encouraging residents to participate in development.
