
Raipur, October 15, 2025/ Preparations have begun for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visit to Chhattisgarh. On November 1, Prime Minister Shri Modi will launch the Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee celebration at the Rajyotsav venue in Atal Nagar, Naya Raipur. Additionally, he will inaugurate the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Museum, the newly constructed building of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, and the Training Center Academy for a Peaceful World “Shanti Shikhar” of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, and interact with children who have undergone heart surgery at Satya Sai Hospital.
Additional Chief Secretary Shri Manoj Pingua reviewed the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit at the Rajyotsav venue in Naya Raipur today and issued necessary guidelines. Shri Pingua stated that Prime Minister Shri Modi will arrive in the capital city Raipur on the night of October 31 and participate in programs the following day. Public gatherings will be held on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Assembly building and the launch of Rajyotsav. All preparations for these events should commence. During the meeting, Collector Shri Gaurav Singh provided detailed information about the preparations being made for the Prime Minister’s visit. The meeting was attended by Secretary of Public Works Department Dr. Kamalpreeet Singh, Secretary of Transport Department Shri S. Prakash, Secretary of Technical Education and Skill Development Department Dr. S. Bharti Dason, Commissioner Raipur Shri Mahadev Kawre, Senior Superintendent of Police Raipur Dr. Lal Umed Singh, and officials from various departments of the district administration.
Additional Chief Secretary Shri Pingua emphasized that a traffic plan and parking arrangements should be made in view of the Prime Minister’s visit. Similarly, parking, drinking water, and toilet facilities should be arranged at the Rajyotsav fairground and other event venues. He suggested that the intersections and squares of Naya Raipur should be organized and beautified. For the convenience of visitors to the Rajyotsav fairground, employees should be assigned duties by dividing the area into sectors. Continuous electricity supply should be ensured during the program, with alternative arrangements in place. Likewise, the sound system should be of high quality. The officials of the Telecommunication Department were also instructed to improve communication systems.
Three large domes are being erected in front of the main stage at the Rajyotsav fairground. Sixty LED screens will be installed in these domes. Chairs are being arranged for people to sit at the fairground. There will be two entry gates for visitors. One gate will be for the departmental exhibition. The departmental exhibition will showcase stalls from various departments of the state government as well as public sector undertakings. A digital exhibition will also be set up near the main stage. A model of the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme will also be displayed at the fairground. During the meeting, officials informed that parking arrangements for 20,000 vehicles on each side of the Rajyotsav fairground have been made. Additionally, parking and drinking water facilities are being arranged on routes leading to Raipur from other cities. 300 toilets will be constructed at the Rajyotsav fairground. The Health Department is establishing a 20-bed hospital with an ICU. Furthermore, 25 ambulances and an adequate number of fire brigade vehicles are being arranged.
