Railway passengers are advised of major disruptions to train services due to infrastructure improvements. The Bilaspur-Jharsuguda fourth railway line project is in its final phase, with non-interlocking work scheduled to connect Raigarh station to the new line. This work will be carried out from August 31st to September 15th and will impact numerous train services. A total of 29 express and passenger trains will be canceled during this period. The affected routes include services from Bilaspur, Tatanagar, Pune, Kurla, Kamakhya, Hatia, Puri, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Malda, Porbandar, Vasco-da-Gama, Patna, Howrah, and Mumbai. Passengers should note that key routes such as Tatanagar-Bilaspur, Pune-Santragachi, Kurla-Kamakhya, Hatia-Pune, and Puri-Jodhpur will be affected. Several trains will operate on altered routes, including the Howrah-Pune Duronto Express (via Jharsuguda-Titlagarh-Raipur) and the Pune-Howrah Duronto Express (via Raipur-Lakholi-Titlagarh). Other services, such as the Howrah-Mumbai Duronto Express, Mumbai-Howrah Duronto Express, Kurla-Shalimar Express, and Shalimar-Kurla Express, will also be rerouted. In addition, 5 trains, including the Gondia-Raigarh Janshatabdi and Nizamuddin-Raigarh Gondwana Express, will be truncated, ending their journeys at Bilaspur instead of continuing to Raigarh.
