The Indian Railways has announced a series of cancellations and route modifications for several trains to optimize operations during the busy festive season. The alterations, scheduled to take place between August 31st and September 15th, are aimed at ensuring smoother traffic flow and enhancing the overall passenger experience.
A total of 30 trains have been canceled, and the routes of 6 other trains have been modified. Passengers traveling to or from West Bengal, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Goa should be aware of potential travel delays. As a measure to accommodate increased passenger volume, 52 trains will have additional stops at various stations across the state.
