Chhattisgarh is experiencing heavy rainfall, causing rivers and streams to swell. Several cities are facing waterlogging issues in low-lying areas. Raipur continues to receive rain this morning. Light to moderate rainfall is expected throughout the state on Tuesday, with warnings of heavy to very heavy rainfall in the Durg, Bastar, and Bilaspur divisions. A low-pressure area and cyclonic circulation are influencing the weather, with the system moving towards Jharkhand and northern Chhattisgarh. The monsoon trough and another trough originating from southern Rajasthan are also contributing to the weather conditions. The weather department has issued warnings of thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds with moderate rainfall in several districts, including Dhamtari, Balod, Rajnandgaon, Raipur, Durg, and Bemetara. Light rainfall is expected in a number of other districts. The forecast for Raipur includes cloudy skies and rain, with temperatures between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius.
