Raipur Police have successfully dismantled a prostitution ring operating in the Professor Colony area, leading to the arrest of three individuals, including one woman. Acting on intelligence about unlawful activities at a particular location, the Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit launched a raid. The operation resulted in the apprehension of Akash Sahu, his female friend, and another woman. Investigations confirmed that Sahu and his partner were running a sex trafficking operation, exploiting a female victim. Further inquiries led to the arrest of Krishanu Das, who is believed to be operating spas that were used as fronts for prostitution. Mobile phones belonging to the accused were seized, and they contained incriminating evidence, including text messages and financial records related to the illegal activities.
