
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with young people from Bijapur district, who were in Raipur as part of the Swami Vivekananda Yuva Protsahan Yojana, at the Chhattisgarh Assembly. He had an affable interaction with the youths, inquiring about their experiences during their visit to Raipur. The Chief Minister declared that every village in Bastar would become a model village and that the development of Bastar was now unstoppable, acknowledging the empowered spirit of the youth. He enquired about their well-being and chatted with the youths from various gram panchayats of Bijapur district. He asked the youth about the changes they have noticed in the last 1.5 years. The youth cited substantial improvements like new roads, improved electricity supply, and the opening of Anganwadi centers. Chief Minister emphasized that Bastar’s development is a key goal for his government. He also inquired about the youths’ studies and activities. A young man from Bijapur, who holds a BSc in Zoology and is now a village panch, informed the Chief Minister. Sai commended their passion and inspired them. During the interaction, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma asked the children how many use Instagram. When many children raised their hands, the Chief Minister smiled in surprise, commenting on the tech-savviness of Bastar’s youth. The Chief Minister expressed his happiness about the youth being updated and understanding technology. The youth also added that mobile towers are being installed in their villages. The youths mentioned their recent visit to Raipur, including their visit to Muktangan and Jungle Safari. The Chief Minister urged them to make the most of their experiences in Raipur.
