In a move to bolster Chhattisgarh’s infrastructure, key road projects have been approved. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to discuss and finalize these initiatives. The meeting resulted in the approval of road projects totaling over ₹7,000 crore. The Union Minister instructed officials to fast-track the financial approvals for these projects.
The Central Road Fund (CRF) will provide ₹600 crore to support the construction and enhancement of various roads across Chhattisgarh. This funding will enable the building of new roads and the improvement of existing ones. As part of the plan, four major bridges will be constructed in Raipur to alleviate traffic congestion. Additionally, roads linking Raipur to other districts will be expanded to four lanes, thereby improving traffic flow and road safety.
