
Raipur, June 30, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai met the youth of Sukma district who came on an intellectual tour at the Mahanadi Bhawan of the Ministry here today. Chief Minister Shri Sai inquired about the well-being of the youth and welcomed them to Raipur, the capital. The Chief Minister told the youth to study hard and move forward. The Chhattisgarh government stands with them. The faces of the youth of the Naxal affected area blossomed after meeting the Chief Minister. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma was also present on this occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai had an intimate discussion with the youth of Sukma district. He said that the Naxals are against development. They do not want the people of Bastar to get basic facilities like water, electricity, roads and schools. The government’s priority is the development of Bastar. Naxalism will end from Bastar very soon.
The Chief Minister lovingly interacted with these youths who came from the remote areas of the state and inquired about them. The Chief Minister asked the youth how they were feeling coming to Raipur? In response to which the youth said that most of the youth of their group have come to Raipur for the first time. Most of them saw Jagdalpur for the first time during this visit. It feels very good to come to Raipur from their village for the first time. They are getting to see new things. Today they got an opportunity to see the ministry and understand the working system here. The Chief Minister said that this experience will definitely be beneficial for you. Take full advantage of this visit and enrich yourself.
Chief Minister Shri Sai specially discussed the topic of their education with the youth of Sukma. Youth of various age groups told the Chief Minister that they are studying in 10th, 12th and even college. The youth openly interacted with the simple Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai. During this, a student told the Chief Minister that he is studying in the second year of BSc, while another student, standing up himself, told the Chief Minister that he is also a BA final student. Chief Minister Shri Sai appreciated the interest of the youth in studies and encouraged them to study and move forward in the same way.
It is noteworthy that an intellectual tour program of the youth of Bastar division is being organized under the Niyad Nellanar program under the Swami Vivekananda Yuva Protsahan Yojana. In this sequence, 95 youths of Sukma district have come to Raipur, the capital, on a 2-day tour. The group includes 77 boys and 18 girls.
