A significant success for the police and CRPF forces has been reported in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, with the surrender of 20 Naxalites. These individuals included those carrying a combined reward of 33 lakh. The surrendered Naxalites comprise 9 women and 11 men, all of whom were involved in several major criminal activities. The surrender was the result of collaborative operations by the DRG District Force and the 111th, 217th, 218th, 226th, and 203rd battalions of the CRPF and CoBRA. The event occurred in the presence of Sukma SP Kiran Chavan, CRPF Second-in-Command Officer Suresh Singh, ASP Abhishek Verma, SDOP Parameshwar Tilakwar, and DSP Manish Ratre.
