Chhattisgarh’s Budhapara Stadium in Raipur became the epicenter of thrilling motorcycle action today as Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai flagged off the National Supercross Bike Racing Championship. His participation included a personal motorcycle ride, a move that was met with resounding applause, particularly from the large youth contingent present. This significant national event is being celebrated as part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee Year, aiming to instill values of discipline, responsibility, and safety in young riders. CM Sai took to social media to share his message, urging everyone to prioritize safety: “It is our responsibility to guide the enthusiasm and speed of the youth in the right direction and provide them with an appropriate platform.” He stressed the preciousness of life and the non-negotiable need for helmets and adherence to traffic laws, advising against any form of street racing. The event, staged on a specialized safe track, underscores Chhattisgarh’s rising stature in Indian motorsports. Organizers emphasized that the championship champions controlled speed and secure riding practices.
