Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars across the state have begun a three-day strike, leading to the disruption of crucial services, including registrations. This action, organized by the Junior Administrative Service Association, is a response to the continued failure to address their demands. These demands, outlined in a 17-point agenda, encompass a range of issues, including staffing, promotions, infrastructure, and other administrative concerns. The association had previously submitted requests to the department and the government. The strike, which began on July 28th, includes district-level protests, followed by divisional and state-level actions. Authorities have issued instructions to prevent officials from taking leave during the strike. An indefinite strike will be initiated if the demands remain unmet by July 30th.
