Raipur, July 13, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai attended the National Executive meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Vaishnava Brahmin Seva Sangh (Chatuh Sampraday), Mumbai, held in the capital Raipur today. The Chief Minister said that it is a matter of good fortune for all of us that the national convention of the Vaishnava Brahmin community is being organized in Chhattisgarh, the holy land of Lord Shri Ram’s maternal home and Mata Kaushalya. He said that the history of the Vaishnava Brahmin community has been very glorious. The luminaries of this society have set amazing examples of generosity in Chhattisgarh. The contribution of the Vaishnava Brahmin community will be very important in the construction of a developed Chhattisgarh. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also honored the talented individuals of the society who have made outstanding contributions in various fields.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Vaishnava Brahmin community has played a historic role in strengthening Sanatan Dharma. This society has been active not only in priestly work but also in governance and administration. Giving an introduction to the great tradition of charity, this society once even donated kingdoms. The Vaishnava Brahmin state of Rajnandgaon is a unique example of this.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that within a year and a half, we have fulfilled most of the guarantees of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Chhattisgarh has been the maternal home of Lord Shri Ram and he spent a long time of his exile here. Our government has started the Ramlala Darshan Yojana, under which more than 22 thousand devotees have so far visited Lord Shri Ramlala in Ayodhya. The Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme has also been restarted, under which all citizens above the age of 60 years will be able to visit pilgrimage sites according to their faith. No maximum age limit has been kept in this scheme for the disabled, widows and abandoned women.
The Chief Minister said that a resolution has been taken to build a developed India under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi by the year 2047. In that direction, we have to move forward in the construction of a developed Chhattisgarh. The active participation of the Vaishnava Brahmin community is expected in this work. He expressed hope that the society would remain organized and continue to move towards progress.
Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh, addressing the program, said that the Vaishnava Brahmin community is a visionary and imaginative society. He said that while working as an MLA, MP, Union Minister and Chief Minister from Rajnandgaon, he has closely seen the historical contribution of this society. The royal family of Rajnandgaon has made unprecedented contributions to the development of higher education, railways, industry and drinking water system. Mahant Digvijay Das ji donated his palace for the college, gave a large land for the railway, and established BNC Cotton Mill, which provided employment to thousands of people. Mahant Ghasidas ji had announced to give free land to encourage business.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, in his address, said that the Vaishnava Brahmin community is the flag bearer of Sanatan Dharma. The organization of this national executive meeting will unite the society more and move forward.
On this occasion, Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma, former National President of Akhil Bharatiya Vaishnava Brahmin Seva Sangh Shri P. L. Bairagi, National Vice President Shri Lal J. K. Vaishnav, State President Shri Rakesh Das Vaishnav, Shri Vijay Kumar Das, Shri Raghavendra Das Vaishnav, Dr. Saurabh Nirwani, Smt. Anjana Devi Vaishnav, Shri Rajnish Vaishnav and many dignitaries were present.
