
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized that the Tiranga Yatra signifies more than a mere event; it is a powerful expression of patriotism, representing India’s unity, integrity, and sovereignty. He underscored the tricolor as a source of immense pride, urging every citizen to be committed to its defense and respect. The true tribute to the heroes of the freedom struggle will be realized when the tricolor flies in every home, and India achieves greater economic and cultural strength.
Addressing the gathering with the spirited slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Chhattisgarh Mahtari Ki Jai,’ Chief Minister Sai highlighted the rise of India as a strong and respected nation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He praised the bravery and valor displayed by Indian soldiers in Operation Sindoor following the recent attack in Pahalgam, acknowledging it as a source of national pride that has further enhanced the tricolor’s prestige.
He added that the true value of the tricolor will be realized when the country becomes economically robust. Aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047, Chhattisgarh has also set its sights on a developed Chhattisgarh. The Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision document has been developed, providing a comprehensive roadmap for the state’s overall development.
Chief Minister Sai encouraged all citizens to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and pay tribute to the freedom fighters by hoisting the tricolor in their homes.
A grand Tiranga Yatra was organized in Raipur as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai joined the Tiranga Yatra from Shaheed Smarak Bhavan to Telibandha, marching alongside thousands of citizens to spread the message of patriotism. The atmosphere was filled with patriotic fervor, with the chants of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ echoing throughout.
Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal noted that the tricolor is a symbol of honor, campaign, and identity. He highlighted the nationwide organization of Tiranga Yatras under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and praised the progress of Chhattisgarh under Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. The Tiranga Yatra was dedicated to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect it. Former soldiers of the state, who made remarkable contributions in various military operations, were also honored.
Legislator Kiran Singh Deo affirmed that the tricolor is our identity and our greatest strength, uniting us and reminding us that we are all one India. He acknowledged the rapid development of Chhattisgarh under the joint leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.
The Tiranga Yatra was attended by numerous dignitaries, including MLA Sunil Soni, Motilal Sahu, Purandar Mishra, Mayor Minal Choubey, President of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Nilu Sharma, President of Raipur Development Authority Nand Kumar Sahu, President of Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation Sanjay Srivastava, President of Chhattisgarh Sahitya Akademi Shashank Sharma, and President of CSIDIC Rajiv Agarwal, along with many public representatives, officials, and a large number of distinguished citizens.
