
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the opening of a three-day foundational training program for newly elected Zila Panchayat Presidents and Vice Presidents at the Thakur Pyarelal State Panchayat and Rural Development Institute in Nimora, Raipur. The Chief Minister, while addressing the attendees, emphasized the critical role of Panchayati Raj institutions in driving rural development. He highlighted the significant responsibilities and opportunities that come with the new roles. He pointed out that with strong determination, even one person can bring about a significant change in the district. Sharing his personal experience, the Chief Minister mentioned that his political journey started at the grassroots level as a Panch. He highlighted how, through the blessings of the people, he was able to serve as an MLA, MP, and finally as Chief Minister. Sai also referenced the impactful contributions of individuals like Dr. Achyut Samant and Nanaji Deshmukh, demonstrating the magnitude of change possible through individual efforts. Moreover, he discussed the potential of Chhattisgarh and the ongoing measures to eradicate Naxalism and foster state development, including the positive transformation of Muler village. The CM encouraged newly elected officials to make the most of their training, ensure quality in development projects, and undertake regular field visits to accelerate progress.
