Union Minister Chirag Paswan has accused Congress MP Rahul Gandhi of prematurely accepting defeat in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. Paswan stated that Gandhi’s recent remarks regarding the elections and his criticisms of institutions, including the Election Commission of India (ECI), are indicative of his conceding defeat. Paswan suggested that Gandhi should direct his focus on issues within the Congress party rather than blaming external bodies. Paswan predicted that the Congress would also face losses in other states following Bihar. Tejashwi Yadav, a leader from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), backed Rahul Gandhi’s accusations against the ECI, alleging that the BJP is undermining constitutional institutions under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule. Yadav claimed that the BJP’s IT cell has prior knowledge of election schedules. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had criticized the ECI’s handling of allegations concerning Maharashtra polls.
