
Consumers can rejoice as oil marketing companies have lowered the prices of LPG gas cylinders. The recent cuts mean prices have decreased by up to 51 rupees. This price reduction applies only to 19-kilogram commercial gas cylinders.
This change will see the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders in Delhi drop to 1580 rupees. The previous price was 1631.50 rupees. The new pricing structure takes effect from today, September 1st.
The price adjustments relate to commercial LPG gas cylinders. Starting today, the price of the 19-kilogram commercial LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by 51.50 rupees. The retail price for a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi will be 1580 rupees from September 1st. The price of the 14.2-kilogram domestic cylinder is unchanged.
The trend for 19-kilogram commercial gas cylinders has been generally downward since January 1, 2025, with the exception of March. There was a 14.50-rupee reduction on January 1st, followed by a 7-rupee decrease in February.
In March, prices went up by 6 rupees. Following this, on April 1st, a significant 41-rupee reduction was made to commercial gas cylinders. Further price cuts of 14 rupees on May 1st and 24 rupees on June 1st occurred. July 1st brought a major reduction of 58.50 rupees. There was also a 33.50-rupee reduction on August 1st. Prices have now been reduced again.
