NEW DELHI: Noting that relatively a couple of ministers have spoken in Lok Sabha throughout the no-confidence movement, Congress chief Jairam Ramesh on Thursday requested why Minister of State and BJP’s MP representing Manipur Internal, Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, has no longer been given an opportunity through the ruling birthday party to talk in Parliament.

Sparks flew at the first two days of the talk at the no-trust movement moved through the Congress on Tuesday with the opposition attacking the Centre over the violence in Manipur and the ruling NDA hitting again at it with corruption and dynasticism jibes.

A number of ministers, together with Amit Shah, Smriti Irani and Kiren Rijiju, have spoken throughout the no-confidence movement until now.

“Relatively a couple of ministers have spoken in Lok Sabha throughout the no-confidence movement. Why is it in order that the one Union MoS and BJP MP in Lok Sabha representing Manipur Internal Parliamentary constituency, Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, whose non-public place of dwelling used to be burnt down, has no longer been given an opportunity through the BJP to talk for Manipur in Parliament?” Ramesh stated on X, previously referred to as Twitter.

The no-confidence movement has been introduced through the Congress on behalf of the opposition grouping Indian Nationwide Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA).

The controversy used to be initiated on Tuesday through Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi. It’ll conclude with the top minister’s answer on Thursday.
