
Manish Tewari, a Congress MP, addressed his non-participation in the parliamentary debate on Operation Sindoor. He clarified that he felt neither aggrieved nor resentful about not being included. He proposed the party might have made a strategic decision regarding the best representation of their views. In an interview with ANI, the Congress MP was questioned whether his party had prevented him from speaking on Operation Sindoor.
Responding to the query, Manish Tewari indicated that the Congress Parliamentary Party has a membership of 100 individuals, with several expressing their desire to speak. He was among them. He acknowledged the party’s selection process for determining who could best represent their stance in Parliament, even if it led to his exclusion. However, he clarified that he has neither grievances nor regrets regarding the situation.
