Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav sparked debate with his remarks at a program in Vrindavan. He stated that if Lord Ram could smile in Ayodhya, there should be no objection to Lord Krishna smiling as well. This statement is being viewed in the context of the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute. Yadav attended the concluding ceremony of a Bhagwat Katha at Keshav Dham.
