Protesters voiced their objections with religious slogans, demanding a ban on non-vegetarian food sales during the Kanwar Yatra. Consequently, the district has implemented Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS). An FIR has been registered against unknown individuals as a result of the incident, and investigations are underway. The Kanwar Yatra is a major annual event.
