JAMMU: Police on Saturday detained a pair from R S Pura at the outskirts of Jammu for allegedly having hyperlinks with Papalpreet Singh, the mind in the back of on-the-run radical preacher Amritpal Singh, an officer mentioned.
The couple — Amrik Singh and his spouse Sarabjeet Kour, citizens of R S Pura — had been passed over to the Punjab Police after being detained, the police officer mentioned.
Papalpreet has been at the run in conjunction with Amritpal for the reason that Punjab Police introduced a crackdown towards the pro-Khalistan preacher and his ‘Waris Punjab De’ outfit on March 18.
