
President Vladimir Putin’s diplomatic engagement in Delhi has reaffirmed the robust strategic partnership between India and Russia. The summit produced a comprehensive set of 21 agreements, underscoring a commitment to deepen ties until 2030. This includes extending e-tourist visas for Russian citizens, making group visas free, and strengthening cooperation in civil nuclear energy. Prime Minister Modi highlighted the shared stance against terrorism, describing the bilateral friendship as a constant guiding light. President Putin, in turn, emphasized the reliability of fuel supplies to India even under sanctions and outlined ambitious plans for increasing bilateral trade to USD 100 billion, highlighting new transport corridors and a broader scope of partnership beyond traditional energy sectors.
