The event took place on Tuesday, according to the child’s mother, who filed a complaint. The mother and father, the alleged perpetrator, were living separately due to a prior dispute.
The young boy was found dead with neck injuries in Narela, Delhi. The child’s mother, Komal, reported that her husband confessed to the killing. A case under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) has been registered at the Narela Police Station. Police are conducting raids to apprehend the accused, who has fled.
The police also confirmed that an FIR is being registered under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and that efforts are ongoing to find the absconding father.
Police records state: “On 29/07/2025, information regarding the recovery of the dead body of a 10-year-old child with visible injury marks on the neck was received at PS Narela. The complainant, Smt.
