Four individuals, identified as Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ganai, Dr. Adeel Ahmed Rather, Dr. Shaheen Saeed, and Mufto Irfan Ahmad Wagay, have been sent to 10-day judicial custody in connection with the recent Red Fort blast. The court’s ruling came as their initial period of detention expired. The incident on November 10th near Lal Quila Metro Station involved a devastating car explosion that killed 15 people and injured many more, causing extensive damage to nearby property. Authorities are diligently working to dismantle a larger terror network, with seven arrests already made in Jammu and Kashmir linked to this operation. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) continues its wide-ranging efforts, including searches across different states, to apprehend all those involved in the audacious attack. Further details from the ongoing investigation reveal that Dr. Muzammil Ganaie had allegedly rented at least two additional locations in the Faridabad region. These hideouts were reportedly secured using fraudulent identities and were in use for a considerable duration, highlighting the sophisticated nature of the terror plot.
