
A devastating cloudburst in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, has led to a severe landslide in Dharali, prompting immediate rescue efforts. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has taken decisive action, instructing officials to intensify relief and rescue operations. The army, SDRF, NDRF, and the district administration are working together to provide aid and conduct rescue operations. The Chief Minister is continuously monitoring the situation, staying connected with senior officials to receive real-time updates. Information suggests that between 50 to 60 people are missing. The cloudburst caused widespread devastation, with several homes in Dharali swept away by floodwaters. According to the army, a massive landslide occurred at Dharali at 1:45 PM, causing a sudden inundation of debris and water in the area. Damage assessment is underway, and the authorities are committed to supporting the affected population during this challenging time. Over 150 army personnel are actively engaged in the rescue mission.
