NEW DELHI: Taking a stern view of the failure of Gujarat executive officers to ship a compliance document on switch and posting of officers forward of the Meeting polls, the Election Fee has sought an evidence from the state leader secretary and DGP.
Bringing up a letter the EC shot off to the Gujarat leader secretary on Friday, resources mentioned in spite of reminders the manager secretary and the Director Common of Police didn’t ship compliance reviews on switch and posting of sure class of officers forward of the polls.
Now they have got been requested to provide an explanation for the instances as to why the compliance reviews have no longer been furnished “up to now even after the lapse of stipulated point in time in spite of issuing of the reminder within the subject,” a supply mentioned quoting the letter.

The letters referring to switch and posting of officers have been despatched to Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat.
Whilst Himachal Pradesh will move to polls on November 12, dates are but to be introduced for Gujarat election.
The fee had directed the 2 state governments to switch officers posted of their house districts and those that have spent 3 years in a district within the closing 4 years.
