A firecracker manufacturing unit in Tamil Nadu’s Sivakasi taluk was the site of an explosion, resulting in one death and five injuries. The incident occurred in Vetrilaiyurani village around 8:45 a.m. The victim who died has been identified as Balagurusamy, aged 50. The Chief Minister has directed immediate medical treatment for the injured and announced financial aid.
