
The year 2027 marks a pivotal moment for India’s railway network with the launch of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train. This high-speed corridor will cover a distance of 508 kilometers, connecting key cities and towns with 12 strategically located stations. The bullet train is designed to dramatically reduce travel time, completing the journey in just over two hours, and will run at impressive speeds. Parallel to this advancement in infrastructure, the employment landscape in Rajasthan presents a unique picture. An extraordinary number of applicants, close to 2.5 million, have applied for peon positions. The educational backgrounds of the candidates vary widely, with a significant majority possessing qualifications that exceed the requirements for the role. The upcoming examinations for these positions will be held at numerous centers, ensuring the accommodation of a large pool of candidates.
