The entire country is expected to receive rainfall in the coming days, with a rainy spell likely to continue across several states. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather bulletin, predicting a rainy day across various regions on Tuesday, August 26. A heightened alert has been issued, ranging from orange to red, for moderate to intense spells of rainfall over Jammu, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and north coastal Andhra Pradesh in the next three hours. Current weather patterns are influenced by the monsoon trough, which passes through Bikaner, Jaipur, Datia, Banda, Ranchi, Digha, and extends towards the northeast Bay of Bengal. An upper cyclonic circulation over south Haryana, and the Western Disturbance over Jammu, also play a role. The IMD predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall for Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, Punjab, and Rajasthan. Other areas expecting heavy rainfall include Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Telangana, Uttarakhand, and West Madhya Pradesh. Thunderstorms with lightning and strong winds are anticipated in Bihar, Gujarat State, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Telangana. Several areas, including parts of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, and Sikkim, will also experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning on Tuesday.
