
According to the latest IMD weather update, numerous regions are bracing for significant rainfall and thunderstorms. Heavy rainfall is expected in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala & Mahe from June 10th to 13th. Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalaseema, and Interior Karnataka will also be impacted by heavy rain from June 11th to 13th.
Intense downpours are possible over the Andaman & Nicobar Islands today. Light to moderate showers are predicted to persist in northeast India for the next week. Other areas set to receive rain include Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya (June 10th-13th), Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura (June 11th-13th), Madhya Pradesh (June 8th), Vidarbha (until June 9th), Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands (June 8th-11th), Gangetic West Bengal (June 11th), and Bihar & Jharkhand (June 10th-13th).
A heatwave alert has been issued for Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh (June 9th-11th). East Uttar Pradesh and north Madhya Pradesh are likely to experience a heatwave on June 9th & 10th, while West Rajasthan will be affected from June 8th-11th. Hot and humid conditions are anticipated in Odisha (June 7th-9th) and Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal on June 8th.
