Discussions with Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef addressed vital areas such as technology, infrastructure, and climate change. Modi was in the Maldives at the invitation of President Mohamed Muizzu. At a banquet, PM Modi highlighted the historical depth of the relationship. President Muizzu emphasized India as a trusted partner, with strong collaboration across numerous sectors. Several agreements were finalized, including those related to finance, fisheries, digital initiatives, and the UPI system.
